Sharing What’s Unfinished

Hey Reader,

This time of year, everyone’s moving at warp speed.
Holidays. Deadlines. Life.

It’s easy to think, “I’ll wait until things slow down.”
To share.
To launch.
To ship.

But if I’ve learned anything from the prerelease of Future Narrator, it’s this: the right time is now.

Not when things are perfect.
Not when you’re certain of a response.
Not when you think the stars have aligned.

I hit “send” on the prerelease with equal parts excitement and nerves.
The feedback has been incredible—not because of the volume or who it came from—but because it exists.

Here’s the thing about building in public:
You can’t predict who will respond, how much they’ll engage, or even if they’ll show up at all.
And it’s not fair to expect them to.

What you can do is put your work out there anyway.
Share it because it deserves to breathe.
Learn from what comes back without attaching yourself to what doesn’t.

This isn’t easy.
(Trust me.)

But the magic happens when you let go of expectations and invite others into the process.
Even if their hands are too full to engage right now, they’ve seen the seed.
They’ve felt your intention.

And if you stay committed to showing up?
They’ll remember.

So here I am, sharing the prerelease, opening the door wide—and finding joy in the act of sharing.
Even in this busy season.

Because every piece of feedback sharpens the work.
And every act of putting it out there strengthens me.

If you’re holding back, waiting for that mythical “right time,” let this be your nudge.

Just share it.
Let it breathe.
And trust that the right people will show up when they can.

Gratefully,
Edwin
